Growing up in Chapel Hill, I always knew it was a special place. After graduating from UNC in 1996, I began my career in Atlanta and ended up exploring the world, working, studying, traveling, and living in cities big and small from Philadelphia to Buenos Aires to Copenhagen. All that time, I knew I would find my way back home to North Carolina – I just couldn’t have it any other way. I love to help clients find their home here too.

Listening closely to your wishes and needs helps me to pinpoint homes that match your desired lifestyle. And with the intimate first-hand knowledge that a true local can provide, I will work hard to help you find a home in the best possible area. In addition, I have a special interest in sustainable design and eco-friendly features. If you share that interest, we will begin with the end in mind, ensuring that you benefit from a long-term perspective that includes insight into potential energy costs and savings when making a decision to buy a home. I also have a great appreciation for historic properties, and enjoy unraveling each home’s unique story. Together, we’ll find a place that’s just for you.
As a seller, you’ll find that I’m knowledgeable, forthright, and hardworking. With a professional background in Marketing and Business Strategy, I understand the impact that an optimal price point and a well-executed marketing plan can have in generating strong sales. When I work with you to list your property, we will determine a market-based price point, and customize a marketing plan to reach potential buyers exactly where they are looking in order to generate the best offer for your home. Recognizing that aesthetic appeal can also have a material impact on your home’s sale, we will discuss cost-effective ways to prepare your home for showing as well.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business, and a Master of Arts in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. I am currently pursuing my EcoBroker, Green, and Certified International Property Specialist designations. In addition, I am a member of the Greater Chapel Hill Association of Realtors, the North Carolina Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, Preservation North Carolina, and the Preservation Society of Chapel Hill.
I believe in giving back to the local community, and I am an active volunteer and event chair with the Glenwood Elementary PTA. I live in Chapel Hill’s beautiful Greenwood neighborhood conservation district with my husband John, and our two children – Jack and Sydney Wren.
